FOLK ART INFLUENCES {made in our studio}

Below are a few examples of artworks created in our studio under the influence of the folk art aesthetic. We take inspiration from all manner of craft, from historic languages, peoples, and communities across the world and through various eras in human history. The common thread is the visible ‘hand’ in the work - each artwork was created drawn by hand (albeit digitally in many cases) or adapted (repainted) from archival sources.

We are not AI averse, and there is a time + place, but it’s not here - NO ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE was used to create these artworks.
