The artwork at the Jay Hotel features a variety of media, such as paper, wood, resin and fabric, to create a collection of abstract art referencing the historic building's brutalist mid-century architecture. Sculptural artworks and prints were designed for over 350 guest rooms, and large-scale sculptures for the public areas were fabricated both by Local Language and local bay-area artists. The Hotel was recently featured in an article by Hospitality Design that celebrates the resurgence of tourism in the Bay Area.
